Dear international students and friends,

The Harz is the highest mountain range in Northern Germany. Our destination will be the Brocken, which is the highest peak of the Harz mountain range with a height of 1141 meters (3744 ft) above sea level.

We will meet at Halle central station and take the train to Wernigerode. Then we will take the bus to a small town from where we will start hiking. At the summit you will have enough time to enjoy the view and brace yourself for the way back. Depending on what time we will be back in Wernigerode there might be enough time for a short city tour and visit of the castle.

When? 28th of October, 7.20am
Meeting point? Halle central station, main entrance
Participation fee? 13€ (with ESN Card), 15 € (without)

Please bring with along proper footgear, weatherproof clothing and enough food & water to survive! The climbing will be physically demanding, so please just join us if you feel fit enough.
